Their sign, less gentle now, can still be seen upon the land.
And at an ever increasing pace the demand for lumber grew and the instruments of its harvest became more powerful,
and almost before we could stop and ask ourselves what we were doing, one of the most magnificent forests in the world began to look like this.......
